zoom sessions

Zoom sessions have proven to be very popular over the last year for a lot of people. It is easy accessible, you can do it in the comfort of you own home, light some candles and play your own favourite (gentle) music while you stretch, move and breathe.

Since we have gone back to face to face yoga in the locations above I will only one session a week through zoom and this is on Wednesday afternoon from 5:45pm - 6:45pm.

Teaching through the medium of zoom will never go away so keep checking back as more sessions may be added depending on demand.

Zoom sessions are also available for groups who wish to book a one off yoga session for their company, youth group or other where face to face is not an option. For more information or bookings please contact directly.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DIFFERENT CLASSES

Hatha yoga: classic yoga where all yoga disciplines are based on. Generally we will start with a short relaxation and warm up, followed by seated and standing stretching and strengthening postures, a short cool down and a relaxation. These classes are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (for times see above)

Restorative yoga: restorative yoga is like classic yoga but we hold the poses a bit longer and is generally more gentle than a typical hatha yoga class. Each session includes a breathing practice and a long relaxation at the end.

This class runs every Wednesday evening from 5:45 - 6:45 via zoom.

Dynamic yoga: dynamic yoga is based on hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga. As with every session at yogabasic these sessions start with a short relaxation to strengthen the awareness of body and breath! This is followed by a series of sun salutations to warm up the body and leads to a variety of stretches and strengthening postures followed again by a short relaxation where the body and mind can recuperate.

This class runs every Friday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 in Shedfield

Above you can find free resources which are updated on a regular basis.

Yoga on a chair is for everybody. It is to give you ideas on how you can incorporate yoga in your life while sitting on a chair. A lot of our lives is spent sitting on a chair without thinking of the impact on posture and breathing.

Yoga poses will give you poses in more detail than you would normally get during a session.

Yoga sequences are known yoga flows like the sun salutation or short sessions of yoga that you can use when you are short of time.

What you find below is often done on request so if there is anything you would like to see added please let me know:  ineke@yogabasic.co.uk.
